The Position

Generation is seeking to hire one full-time employee to join our 13-person Global Equity Fund (GEF) Investment Team in London, where she or he will join a team responsible for coverage of global investment opportunities in the technology sector. The Investment Team is responsible for all investments made at the firm, and the investment process is characterized by a collaborative, dynamic exchange between members of the team, all of whom are based in London. Our people are our biggest asset and we aim to enhance our team by finding the right candidate for the role; the successful candidate would slot well into our already highly skilled & well regarded team.

Qualifications

As a member of the Investment Team, she or he will be responsible for helping provide research coverage for Generation’s flagship Global Equity product, focusing specifically on opportunities for investing in global technology sector equities. Generation is looking for candidates with proven full-time work experience in the technology sector or working with technology companies as a consultant or analyst.

Specific requirements include:

• Commitment to a career in equity investing, with particular focus on technology companies;
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills;
• An interest in sustainability, particularly its materiality for investors and the capital markets;
• Previous work experience (intern or permanent) at a large technology company or venture capital firm (advantageous);
• A curious mindset and creative problem-solving skills – we value original thinking!

The role is a full-time, permanent position. Start date is flexible.
