[Events] Applications open for 2013 New Ventures Forum/Siemens TTB
Siemens Technology to Business (TTB) Berkeley is a venture innovation group that serves as a gateway to Siemens. We search for ideas emerging from startup companies and universities and create project-oriented venture partnerships. Our activities can lead to rewarding relationships with Siemens down the road – including joint development deals, customer relationships, and investments.
We are now welcoming applications for our 2013 New Ventures Forum. In this annual event, selected startup companies will be flown to the San Francisco Bay Area from June 10-12 for an all-expenses-paid learning experience. Invited teams will build their networks and learn how to attract and engage Siemens – and how TTB can help accelerate their go-to-market plans.
Venture- and seed-stage startup companies in the US are encouraged to apply. We are interested in a broad range of topics this year, including:
· “Big data” and analytics software
· Mobile applications in energy and industry
· Lighting technologies
· Energy (Smart Grid, wind, etc.)
· Rail and other transportation solutions
· Manufacturing, industrial design and automation, and robotics
The application process is easy – interested candidates should submit a one-page overview by March 25th, and a 10-15 slide business deck by April 17th. All materials should be sent to [email protected].
Additional details on the 2013 New Ventures Forum are included below. I will follow up in the next few days with official materials.
Please feel free to distribute this opportunity throughout your network, and share with any entrepreneur who might be a potential fit. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at any time.
Thanks and best regards,
Birgit Leighton
