Retail Tech Startup by Stanford Grads Looking For a Co-Founder

April 26, 2013  |  No Comments  |  by admin  |  jobsrss

Check out the posting from them below:

We are two Stanford grads in NYC revolutionizing the offline shopping experience. We built Stylr, a shopping assistant that helps you find fashion you love in the stores around you and brings the benefits of online shopping to the physical shopping. With Stylr, you can check out what local stores have in stock, browse their items by color, price and brand and much more. Curious? Check out our app in the App Store.

We soft-launched an awesome product, piqued interests of local investors and retailers, and added on a few hundred users testing out our app. Before stepping on the gas and marketing our app, we would love to bring on an awesome business co-founder. In particular the ideal person should have:

  • Past experience in one or more of marketing, branding, product management and business development.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of consumer tech and mobile applications.
  • Interest in retail, fashion or e-commerce and preferably work-experience in these industries.
  • Be an outside-of-the-box thinker and an opportunity creator at heart.
  • Be comfortable with the ever-changing needs in a startup environment. Be ready to meet with top retailers one day and evangelize the product to a group of college kids the other day.
  • Grasp the underlying changes retail industry is going through and realize the amazing opportunities it opens up.

What is in it for you? You work with two awesome product developers who have collectively worked at large companies like Facebook, Microsoft and scaled early-stage startups like Chartbeat and Adap.tv and get to revolutionize an industry in crisis. You get real equity in a high potential venture and you get to define its vision with us. If what we are talking about excites you, email us at [email protected]. Send whatever you think would help us understand who you are and why you’re awesome.
