Fairhaven Capital, an early stage venture capital firm, is hiring for a full-time associate to start summer/fall 2012. The position is based in Cambridge, MA.  Responsibilities for the position include deal sourcing and due diligence, assisting in the management of portfolio companies, and developing investment themes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of prior work experience.  Desired roles include sales/business development, product management, marketing, investment banking, consulting.
• An MBA from a top-tier university.
• Undergraduate degree in an analytical discipline (finance, math, engineering, etc) is preferred.
