Summer Internship: Sales & Marketing (Resale/Retail)
You’re learning a ton at business school, but you’ve got ideas of your own and you want to see them actually happen. We want to give you that opportunity. For 10 weeks, you’ll be in charge. Spend the first 2 weeks learning our business and working with the Founder and Entrepreneur Magazine’s Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year to rebuild our reseller program from the ground up. It will be up to you to develop the engagement strategy, determine pricing, design the marketing plan, and establish success metrics.
Then, take your ideas and make them happen in real life. For the rest of the 8 weeks, implement and execute on your plan.
Who you need to be: We have a big vision and we’re looking for an incredibly resourceful, intelligent, and hard-working individual to help us achieve it. The role is for someone who is hungry to learn what it takes to build a big business in the technology accessories space. You need to be:
✓ Resourceful – You can get more value with less and often know how to come up with creative solutions to increase efficiency and output without decreasing quality.
✓ Determined – Your are fearless and have no problem cold calling, email or stalking potential business partners in order to get what you want.
✓ Tech Lover – You love new technology and you spends hours reading tech blogs hoping for some new information on the Apple iPhone or latest Android device.
Work Structure:
As an entirely virtual organization, you are welcome to work independently from home in your PJs or from your favorite coffee shop. In the beginning and as needed, working sessions may be required at the Cambridge Innovation Center in Kendall Square (Cambridge, MA). The CIC has an endless supply of free food, snacks and caffeinated beverages to keep you alert and fed.
What you’ll get:
