The Rock Center for Entrepreneurship oversees an Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EiR) program in which accomplished entrepreneurs and VCs visit campus monthly.  During this time, they are available to students to offer counsel on their career or business planning issues.  These meetings are a unique opportunity for students to connect one-on-one with entrepreneurs for meaningful conversations on a wide range of topics from new ventures and ideas to entrepreneurial career advice.

[MBA Internship] Pymetrics

HBS / MIT startup pymetrics (www.pymetrics.com) is applying neuroscience assessment + data science to the world of career search. We replace questionnaires with neuroscience tasks + statistics with data science to ideally match students with jobs + companies. It is currently used by undergraduates + MBA students, and consulting, finance + technology clients, across the US. We recently raised $2.5M from Khosla Ventures. We are looking for rock star interns to help us out with MBA data collection. Interns will have the following responsibilities.
responsibilities

The role is to spread awareness of the pymetrics instrument as a career fit assessment tool among MBA and undergrad students. The pymetrics tool is free to use to all students. It provides career fit recommendations based on students’ cognitive and emotional profiles. These profiles are derived from performance-based assessments that students do online. Responsibilities will include:
• Managing social media postings regarding the assessment instrument – materials will be provided
• Email campaigns to potential MBA test takers
• Liaising with on-campus clubs to build awareness about the assessment

The internship will be for the fall semester, with possibility of extending into the spring. Total time commitment for the internship will be approximately a few hours a week.

• Strong interest in startup experience

• This position is not financially compensated although there are incentives.
