Description
PlayStation is the best known brand in gaming in the world. It is also the #1 streaming device for Netflix. You will be working with a small elite group of entertainment professionals that are bringing top media brands like Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, and NFL Sunday Ticket to the PlayStation. Your objective will be to provide a consultant’s view on the business unit and assist the team with financial modeling, SWOT analysis and business plan development. Your deliverable will be to lead the development of a formal business plan that will be presented to senior management
Principle Duties/Responsibilities
- Assess existing Video Services portfolio, recommend areas of improvements and growth opportunities, and provide portfolio forecasts
- Identify new business opportunities, build business cases and value proposition based on:
- PlayStation consumer needs and preferences
- PlayStation’s position and other Sony entities’ strength
- Industry, market trends and competitive forces
- Other considerations.
- Build a formal business plan
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- A strong understanding/experience of the content, cable, telecommunication,gaming and Internet industries.
- Expert in forecasting, NPV (Net Present Value) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return) analysis tools.
- Basics in Marketing, Strategy, Operations and Finance
Required and Preferred Experience / Education:
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales roles
- Current MBA student
