December 17, 2012  |  No Comments  |  by Angela  |  Events

We’re currently planning HackHarvard’s third annual Wintersession Hack Week, and we’re in the process of looking for mentors. In case you’re not familiar, Hack Week is an incubator program for student startups, in which participants spend a week gaining technical skills, exploring the startup world, and turning their projects into companies. The HackHarvard community has been extremely successful in the past; several are still working on their startups. Each team is paired with a mentor, who offers the team guidance and support, and may even hack alongside them. Mentors also typically lead workshops on their areas of expertise.

Mentors are crucial to the success of the program, and not only will you be able to take part in a startup’s successful launch, you also get to enjoy the awesome Hack Week activities we’re planning, from founder speed dating at TechStars to our big finale at Demo Day!

To participate, you must be on campus for the entirety of Wintersession, January 18-27. If you’re interested and available, please email Lexi Ross ([email protected]) as soon as possible. Let us know as well if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to having you!
