My name is Jason Shah. I’m a Product Manager at Yammer and was Harvard ’11.

I noticed the increase in product management / startup education happening at HBS, including PM 101 and some of the education happening through the TechMedia club.

I teach a class online called “You’re Hired: How to Get a Job in Product Management” that teaches the basics of product at hot tech companies (Google, FB, Yammer, Twitter, etc.) and helps people, including MBA students, position themselves for summer internships / full-time product gigs — especially when they are making a transition from a non-tech background.

I’ve had hundreds of students go through the course, with dozens getting hired as PMs soon after. I wanted to offer half off the class to TechMedia members and to ask for your help in distributing it to students.
