Shoptiques.com allows users to virtually travel & explore the neighborhoods of the best-kept secret boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and more. Shoptiques is disrupting $20bn market. Headquartered in New York City, Shoptiques is funded by Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners, Benchmark Capital, SV Angel, General Catalyst, Charles River Ventures, William Morris Endeavor and Y Combinator. We are expanding internationally and you have the opportunity to start our Paris business.
We have garnered a lot of media attention since our nationwide public launch in March this year, including Harper’s Bazaar, Huffington Post, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, WWD, Stylecaster, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Tech Crunch, Inc Magazine, Mashable and more.
Our vision is to be the Open Table for boutiques and more. We are looking for an enthusiastic Director of International Sales & Operations based out of Paris, France that will be eager to get involved into all aspects of running a business: from marketing to operations. This is a start-up atmosphere, so we are looking for someone who is a go-getter and can take initiative.
Responsibilities will range from:
- Starting and growing our Shoptiques Paris business (with support from the New York HQ)
- Developing strategy plan for expansion
- Identifying and onboarding the best boutiques in Paris
- Analyzing/identifying the target market, interacting with consumers and developing and executing marketing plan to reach international customer base
- Managing day-to-day operations, such as photo shoots, shipping and logistics, payments etc.
- Coordinating all fashion coverage with daily blog entries on fashion, pop culture and beauty; working with guest bloggers, prominent fashion figures for interview for Shoptiques online Magazine
Qualities we are looking for in a candidate:
- Highly ambitious, self-motivated, takes initiative
- Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strategic and creative thinker with advance problem solving skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in French, position will be based out of Paris
- Interest in fashion
