The Cleopatra system is designed to enable a micro-purchase economy to develop on the Web for millions of end-users and millions of vendors/merchants.
Cleopatra, a new division of NetNumber, Inc. located in Lowell, MA. NetNumber, Inc. is a 12-year old profitable developer of core network technology for communications service providers on a global basis. Several of the key technology components developed by NetNumber over the past 12-years are utilized in the delivery of the Cleopatra solution.
Job Description
• Member of the Cleopatra executive team reporting to the President/CEO.
• Responsible for defining and implementing a strategic vision for educating a global community of end-users and merchants/vendors on the capabilities of the Cleopatra system.
• The definition of success for this role is two-fold (1) establish a positive impression of Cleopatra within the global Internet community and (2) help build the business by attracting a large community of users and merchants to utilize the Cleopatra system to complete micro-purchase transactions.
• Must be a strong independent worker.
• Experience as first line manager and/or team leader preferred.
• Experience with utilizing many forms of Internet based communications including Website, PR, Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal are required.
Position will start as an individual contributor role reporting to the President/CEO. Director of Community Development and Marketing is responsible for communicating the Cleopatra vision to a diverse audience of end-users and merchants/vendors via Internet based communications media.
Qualifications
• Must be a strong independent worker.
• Experience as first line manager and/or team leader preferred.
• Experience with utilizing many forms of Internet based communications including Website, PR, Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal are required.
• Interest in working in start-up environment.
