Stein Lundby has been working with IP for the past 15 years with Qualcomm.  He has over 60 patents to his name and has founded a division on IP strategy at Qualcomm.  Qualcomm, based in San Diego, CA, is a $112 B company and has done a great job generating and defending IP in the tech industry.  Qualcomm has developed IP in telecommunications which it has been able to license to the industry.
