Gist:
Y Combinator, angel & VC-backed enterprise software startup, Opzi, hiring MBA intern for the summer.
What We Do:
At Opzi, we’re building real-time enterprise collaboration software. Our first product aims to displace wikis as the preferred mode of sharing knowledge within a team or company. We’re combining strong engineering and functional design to create great products.
Founders & Funding:
Euwyn was Cornell CS ’04, JD from Cornell Law ’07, former biglaw M&A attorney. Ambert was Stanford EE ’06, former Cisco engineer. Funded by Y Combinator, Ron Conway, First Round Capital, Chris Sacca, Paul Buchheit (creator of Gmail) and many others.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking a talented MBA intern to work directly with the founders over the summer. If you’re looking to coast through the summer, this probably isn’t the right gig. If, on the other hand, you have a strong interest in learning about startups and want to help us build an awesome enterprise software company, we’d like to hear from you.
You should be a self-starter and have experience or demonstrated interested in startups, SaaS and enterprise sales. Your work over the summer will include customer interviews, conducting competitive analysis, working on pricing models and marketing/sales strategies + content, or any other projects of your own choosing. You should feel comfortable defining your own projects and goals in these areas. You will be expected to take initiative and make real contributions to the company in a short timeframe.
Benefits:
- Fun, spacious SOMA office (exercise bike, weights, TV, roof; soon, hockey net)
- Lunches on us, drinks and beer fridge
- Experienced founders
How to Apply:
Send an email to [email protected]. Bonus points if you have a technical background or experience selling or building enterprise SaaS products.
